2 Law Studies in Legal English 2020

Law courses are great opportunities for personal development and can be taken on their own or with another degree you are pursuing. Course material usually focuses on currently relevant issues in fields such as intellectual property and commercial law.

Lawyers and other legal professionals use a unique form of English in their work. Often called "legalese" or "lawspeak," this form of English uses terminology and grammar that is not common. Some students can benefit from a course dedicated to this legal English.
